Maybe it's the engineer in me... but I think it is interesting to break the love described in 1st Corinthians 13 down into columns.
Love is:
Kind
Suffers long
Rejoices in the truth
Bears all things
Believes all things
Hopes all things
Endures all things
Love is/does not:
Envy
Parade itself
Puff itself up
Behave rudely
Seek its own
Provoked
Think evil
Rejoice in iniquity
Fail
If you were asked to describe love, would those be the things you chose to mention?
I love lists and charts. I think they bring thing quickly into focus. They also help you visual and remember specifics better.
